I didn’t know it until just a couple minutes ago, but today is national canine Day! now you’re probably wondering what the heck is national canine Day? Well, it’s essentially a day to recognize all the fantastic dogs across the world.
Happy national canine Day to all the pups out there and my three boys: Linus, a black Australian Shepherd mix rescue dog, Stetson, a black Labrador Retriever profession changed guide dog, and Dublin a yellow Labrador Retriever Puppy In Training. Also, I have to give a shout out to Derby our second puppy in training and a yellow Labrador Retriever profession changed guide canine who now lives with his adopted family.

Dogs ought to not have to lose their lives because of the atrocities they have been forced to endure at the hands of man. and while we feel that American’s have the constitutional best to purchase a pure breed dog, we strongly dissuade purchasing from pet stores, backyard breeders, the internet, newspaper ads and puppy mills, and rather encourage those seeking new canine companions, to verify that they are purchasing from a trusted breeder, educate themselves about their dog’s breed and better yet – check out their local shelter or pure breed rescue group for a new furry family member that will be forever grateful. Millions of dogs are killed every year because they are unwanted. They are fantastic and viable sentient beings that are worthy of compassion and respect. Please consider adopting on national Day!
